Perspectives on Anarchist Theory

Perspectives on Anarchist Theory is published by the Institute for Anarchist Studies. It includes recent essays by IAS-supported writers and translators, features with anarchist views on a contemporary issue, book reviews, regular columns, and updates about IAS activities. Perspectives is primarily an online journal. The IAS will post new articles as they are ready to go, so check back often for new content. New articles will be posted to this Web site's front page, then archived under the Perspectives section available through the menu at the top of the front page.

Perspectives on Anarchist Theory is edited by Lara Messersmith-Glavin, Maia Ramnath and Paul Messersmith-Glavin.

Submissions

If you are interested in writing for Perspectives, please send an email to perspectivesmagazine@googlegroups.com with a proposal for your piece, or an abstract of a completed essay. The editors will take a look at your proposal and get back to you as soon as possible. All essays should have endnotes, not footnotes, and no page numbers, and follow the Chicago Manual of Style.

Book Reviews

Perspectives editors are always on the lookout for book reviewers, so please get in touch if there is a title you are interested in examining; however, keep in mind that Perspectives prefers to publish comparative book reviews dealing with two or three titles. At least one book in your review should be forthcoming or have appeared within the last year. In most cases, the editorial collecive can acquire a review copy for forthcoming and new books for the reviewer.
